She participated in diversionary tactics and bombarded enemy positions in the Korean War. She witnessed the end of the great Empire of Japan, as the official and final surrender was being signed aboard her. She ferociously shelled Iwo Jima and Okinawa in the second world war, even on the lands of Japan itself, industrial targets were not safe from her thunderous 16 inch guns. She's the third and the last ship in the US navy to receive the name of USS Missouri, the last US battleship ever built. Oh, and it would coincide with the 13K doubloons and 30M credit bundle for $99.99.(I originally posted this as a comment on another thread, but I felt that it deserves it's own)įor all the fans of the legendary USS Missouri That would make it less common and a bit painful for just about everyone to purchase. *I think maybe a compromise would be that you have to use free XP to get it AND pay it's full credit price of about 15.5M++ credits. And with the promise of new lines coming, it's hard to "waste" an entire T9's worth of xp for a ship that likely isn't going to be fantastically different from the Iowa (other than premium!). If it's too high, then only very long term players who also burn doubloons and wipe out their reserves are going to get it. If it's too low, then everyone who has a lot of free xp lying around is going to have an extra T9 premium BB. I guess it depends on the target audience. They might bring out a special deal on doubloons or conversion. So I think you're looking at somewhere between 12,000 and 25,000 doubloons or 300K and 625K free xp.* And the highest doubloon package is 25,000 doubloons for $99.99. You can also get 13,000 doubloons and 30M credits for US $99.99. It would take 12,720 to fully convert that much to free xp.Ĭoincidentally, 12,000 doubloons is the 2nd highest amount you can buy for US $51.69 at this time. It's hard to see it going for less than that. That's if you already have up to North Carolina upgraded and ready to purchase. A fully-upgraded Iowa costs a bit over 300K xp (318).
